Board of Trustees

The school is governed by a board of trustees drawn from the ranks of leaders in civil society. The trustees’ capacity to chart a course for the school’s future is exemplified by the roles they have in business, education, philanthropy and other fields. The board meets regularly throughout the year and participates actively in the rich array of public programs, performances, and school ceremonies that characterize Krownley Preparatory School.

Mr Bayo Shodipo

Mr Bayo Shodipo is a marketing and risk management professional with over 20 years’ experience in the banking industry overseeing: Operations, Risk Management, Retail, Corporate and Commercial Banking Business.  In the course of these years, he has led and supervised multi-sector transactions involving Construction, Telecommunications, Marine, Aviation, Oil and Gas, FMCG and Public Sector.

He is passionate about corporate strategy and planning especially how organisations can transition change while retaining their customer focus and competitive advantage. He has pioneered turn around growth strategies at various stages of his career. He retired from banking in 2012 and in partnership with a team of professionals set up Krownley Group of Companies.

He currently work as MD/CEO Krownley Property Development Company

Mr Bayo Shodipo is a graduate of Economics, he holds a  Master’s  degree in Business Administration, Ex Officio member Governing Council of Lagos Business School Alumni Association and an honorary member of Chartered Institute of Bankers Of Nigeria.

Mrs Yinka Bayo-Shodipo

Mrs Yinka Bayo-Shodipo is a trained lawyer, educated at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile -Ife Nigeria where she bagged a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree in 1997. She became a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2000. She holds a Master degree in Business Administration (International Business Management) from Lagos State University, Ojoo in 2004. She also has a Diploma in Montessori from Centre for Educational Developmental Studies Kerala, India.

She has a rich and robust Legal expertise in Telecommunications where she resigned her appointment as the Head of Legal/Corporate Services in 2009 to pursue her dreams and follow her mother's footstep.

She is happily married to Mr Bayo Shodipo and they are blessed with two children.

Mrs Adesola Adesokan

Mrs Adesola Adesokan is a trained lawyer, from the Premier University, University of Ibadan where she bagged a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree in 2001. She became a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2003. She holds a Master in Law from the University of Wales and was called to the England and Wales Bar in 2010. She also holds a Higher Diploma from Icon College, London specialising in Health and Social Care. Mrs Adesokan currently works in the United Kingdom with people with special needs and on Austin Spectrum, providing relevant information in regards to the Education Health Care process for parents of children and young people with special educational needs and stability.

She is happily married to Pastor Idowu Adesokan and they are blessed with two children.

Mrs Adedolapo Olusola Popoola

Mrs Adedolapo Olusola Popoola is a 1984 graduate of Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan and has a post graduate Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Lagos.  She was appointed to the Board of Directors of Morison Industries Plc in 1995 and became Managing Director in 2000 and Chief Executive Officer in 2004 (one of the few women running companies quoted on the Nigeria Stock Exchange) a position she held till June 2013 when she retired and began to run her own company – The Minerva Company Ltd.

Mrs. Popoola is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, 2004 Alumna of Chief Executive Programme of the prestigious Lagos Business School. A member of the Institute of Directors and a mentor on the Fate Foundation Entrepreneur programme as a role model and resource person for aspiring entrepreneurs. 

Mrs. Adedolapo Olusola Popoola is married to Dr. Olawumi Popoola and are blessed with two children.
